FEMINIST CLASS
The longest running of our adult program offerings, this group shares leadership and meets each Sunday in the West Parlor to read and discuss topics personal, political, and spiritual. The class is presently reading A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaleed Hosseini; next on the class schedule will be The Chalice and the Blade. Everyone is welcome at any time (including men!). WORDS TO LIVE BY
A Bible study class for everyone, regardless of background or beliefs (or lack thereof). The class is facilitated by Rev. THE THOUGHTFUL CHRISTIAN:
ISSUES OF EVERYDAY LIFE
AND THEIR DEEPER DIMENSIONS
Gather around tables, have some espresso, listen to a brief presentation on a subject, then participate in a guided dialogue and discussion. This class offers the opportunity to take a deeper look at life experiences, spirituality, and political/theological issues, and reflect on them with other members. Facilitated by Rev. Kathy Hurt and others, this class meets the SECOND and FOURTH Sundays of the month, with the first meeting scheduled for October 14. INFORMAL JAM SESSION
